Do you love working outside? Are you hardworking and fun-loving? Do you have formal education in fisheries or wildlife biology? Or at least a strong desire to learn? The Biologist Field Assistant might be just the job you are looking for. Every day is a different experience, so boredom isn’t an option. You’ll work with some of the best equipment and people in the industry, and you’ll get to see some of the most beautiful properties in North Central Texas.
As the Biologists Field assistant you’ll help both our Fisheries and Wildlife Biologist perform services on location. Duties will range from stocking fish, conducting lake surveys, spraying aquatic vegetation, installing fish habitat, lake mapping, various wildlife and habitat services, and some product prep, assembly and delivery. This position requires the use of hand tools and preparing product for shipment from our location as well.
First and foremost, you must love the outdoors and be capable of manual labor. Some secondary education is preferred, but a willingness and ability to learn could do. You must be mechanically inclined, and able to use and maintain equipment. We’re pretty tight group, so everyone here is personable and willing to work with others. Excellent verbal and written communication skills appreciated.
